I'd guess part would mean keeping a food supply of the whole grains, fruits and vegetables around to eat., then just eat those. Some carbs are good to help you sleep. Just not the processed kinds. Such an assortment of nutrient filled foods should help you with the lethargy.
As far as nightmares, my psychiatrist has told me, that if mine became an issue, there's a different sleep med he could prescribe.
Eat more fruit, is my answer to cravings. Not that I don't ever touch processed carbs, but I also eat numerous foods with whole grains. If full, tougher to crave...
