Yes, well, I mean part of anxiety symptoms you mentioned like worrying, heart thumping etc. I also read as symptoms for depression.
Depression also goes with sleep difficulty as obviously does anxiety.
I donīt know. I feel like, whenever you are anxious, you are going to feel depressed too, because itīs just not a good feeling, you tend to worry and not be able to relax, it presses on your self confidence etc.
And whenever you are depressed, I suppose you are going to feel tense, worry and expect the worst outcome which produces anxiety.
My "theory" (though of course I am not an expert or anything at all) is that it always, to some extent goes together.
And "healing" , the one or the other, basically means becoming "healthy", getting a healthy mind. I donīt think it can be seperated.
I think when you feel well, youīre going to feel well and you are not going to have one or the other any more.
But that is just my theory.
It does make sense then though, that sometimes you will get a suscribtion for anti-depressant for treatment of anxiety.

yes some people do get depressed when they are anxious I do not. each person has their own combinations of symptoms. some people just have anxiety, some just have depression, some have a mixture of both symptoms some have two separate disorders...i see it like you would with a cold or virus. there are many different ways to have a cold, one person may cough, another sneeze, another headache, another sore throat or you can have people with two or more of these same symptoms. (which is why there are many different formula's of cough meds here in america you can match your symptom with the right meds.) frequently here in america the same medication treats a diversity of problems. it doesnt mean all those problems go hand in hand... example one medication I am on treats depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, schizophrenia, muscle problems, seizure disorders, strokes, drug withdrawl, my doctor prescribed it for my MS (a physical problem) it works great of that but it does not help me with my depression. i have a different medication for my depression and another different medication for my anxiety problems because one antidepressant doesnt help both my depression and anxiety problems. I'm actually on an anti psychotic for my depression not an antidepressant.
