I also take alprazolam PRN if I have a severe anxiety attack/panic situation, since the clonazepam doesn't help with that. But alprazolam really is a *****. For awhile that was the only benzo I was on, and in the end it wasn't good. I became dependent on it and had withdrawals between doses, which definitely DID NOT help my anxiety at all.
