Interesting..my problems with anorexia itself hit at the age of 42. I lost such an extreme amount of weight ended up medically hospitalized the following few years with central line IV nutrition...I had been healthe & athletic before that staying at a min healthy weight. During that time my period NEVER STOPPED..

About 10 years later it hit again..but my age was about time for my period to stop. I didn't loose as much as the first time but was still at a dangerously low weight.

Think it depends on age, hormones in the body & general health. I had many monthe when the flow was less than others..but would recommend a visit with your gyno & hormone tests..why mess up your body?
