Hope it went well. I find I just have to force myself to do it and sometimes you can get some inertia going. Once I get to what I need to do, I'm usually able to roll with it and perform okay (maybe not great, but enough to get the job done). If you'd have talked to me before I arrived, though, my depressed brain would've said I couldn't do it.

My therapist once told me depression lies to us, and that the depressed brain wants to stay depressed, even if we're begging it otherwise. That's why it's so hard to get ourselves out of bed and get moving, but that's exactly what we need to do to fight the depression.
