I second the light therapy lamp idea. I have one, and it does help a little when I'm depressed (usually only use it when I get the winter blues jan/feb). Hope your son is okay and you start feeling better.
Oh, and if you're going to drink an energy beverage and want to try a new one - monster ultra sunrise. Seriously, drink one of those and your day will be fantastic!
