I would recommend talking to some-one to get things out in the open and being heard. Or write things down onto some paper so it relieves the burden on your brain to retain it.
After doing those things sometimes if we can find a distraction like doing something physical? You could always try reading or a movie anything really that takes the focus away from your own mind.
