I googled mine, and she knew about it after the fact, while I was in the choosing process, then the waiting process for my first session. I was hoping to find testimonials, but there was nothing out there on her. Except that she had written a book. So I ordered and read (and enjoyed) the book. I was glad to find that info...being a memoir about her childhood, I found it very interesting. But I told her I googled her, and that I read her book. Now that I've been seeing her for over 10 months, I don't feel it's important to google her anymore so I don't. I just was hoping to find some info on her....as a T. I think she's on Angie's List, but I don't have a membership...therefore I couldn't look there. I felt a little uncomfortable about googling her and then admitting to it, but I told her I google EVERYONE when it comes to "hiring" a person. Chriros, PTs, her, my MD when I switched....yup.... I think it's a responsible thing to do, to check into these people we will trust with our well-being. Since there were no reviews, I left a couple of positive reviews on my own.
