My 20 yr. old college son was diagnosed with social anxiety. Just wondering if that is really what it is...
He doesn't associate with anyone at college, chose to live alone in an apartment after having a bad roommate situation his freshman year. Walks with his head down going to and from classes. Does not have a job,says he can't because he is a fulltime student and goes through out the year.

Refuses to go out to eat with the family. Would not even eat dinner with us for Easter-stayed in his room until everyone left. Does nothing with his girlfriends family ever. Only hangs out with 2 friends that smoke weed like he does from home.
Suffers from anxiety and depression. Had been turning to alcohol but seems like he is trying to cut back on that. Smokes weed though.
