depression is caused by less serotonin, which is not normal
anxiety is caused by an abnormal amount of gaba, is is not normal
im not proud i have depression and anxiety and other issues, i wish i didn't. thats what medication do, is it helps most of us to be normal to some extent whether its emotionally, psychiatrically, or any other mental issue.
we shouldn't be embarrassed though. its just like having cancer, they didn't choose to have cancer, we didn't choose to have too little serotonin in our brains.
