Going back to original post how is anyone's reputation at stake? My whole family are professionals and very visible yet how their or mine reputation at stake of my therapist knows who I am or who my dad is? If you don't trust your therapist and think she will be unethical and gossip then either switch therapists or talk to your therapist about yours possibly irrational fears. If you worry that your dad will know about therapy then again talk to your t about it. Other than that it appears that no one is anonymous in their therapy as there is no need to be
