It's pretty standard at least around here to have to see a counselor first and to have to wait 2-4 weeks to see a psychiatrist. That's just the system. Once you're in though you usually don't have to wait as long and you don't have to continue with the therapist if you don't want to.

Also I've tried wellbutrin 3 different times and it's been different according to which meds i was on at the time.
