I'm the same about the internet and my social media presence.

I google myself regularly just to see what kind of information shows up on a search engine. I'm paranoid. My FB account is totally locked, I never post any pictures.


Initially I didn't even want to give my last name to my therapist as it is a rare name and I didn't want her to be able to make some connections between me and my parents.

It may seem odd to some people here but I've had to hide so much stuff about myself over the years that it's a second nature for me.

I just feel safer that way.
