Holy cow, that's not much of a taper! That's not a low Effexor dose, either. I was taking 375 mg/day, but that was because it takes that much for it to help fibromyalgia pain. I went straight from that to 60 mg/day Cymbalta and didn't really notice the difference. (Which doesn't exactly make sense to me, but that's what happened.)

Some people (a few) don't react so severely to Effexor withdrawal. How have you been feeling the last few days? You can PM me if you want. Or ignore all my questions.

Have you ever gone off Effexor before, like run out of it for 2-3 days? I have. By the 3rd day I would be crying and shaking, my vision and balance would be affected to the point where I couldn't drive and I would be so agitated that I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin.
