Hi AnxietyGirl

I know how you feel, sometimes I feel like I am a thread killer, one post from me and the thread dies a death, never to see the light of day again. Some days are slower than others, threads started weekends can seem to get fewer replies for some reason.

I know I found it hard when I first came to PC and it seemed like I was the newbie that didn't fit in, I can see now that was just a feeling I had and not a true reflection. Jo_Thorne mentioned how one of her threads got no replies, I've had that too with a thread that got over 200 views, no replies and two hugs. I'd bared my soul in the thread by writing about something I'd never spoken about to anyone and it was a horrible, lonely experience. So I totally understand your feelings but I honestly believe that sometimes not getting a response is just bad luck or bad timing.

I've checked out your posts and they are positive, supportive comments, you have already made a valuable contribution to the PC community.

I find the daily check-in threads are a good way to get to know people in a less intimidating way than starting a thread and wondering who will reply. The downside of check-in threads is that you generally don't get replies to something you post but you know you've been heard because of the "hugs" or "thanks" you get. Also, on the daily check in threads I've met some incredible people who know just when to reach out to with a personal message (PM).

The depression check in thread can be found here: Daily Check In

There is also one on the anxiety board, too.

I hope you decide to stick around, PC has helped me a lot and I hope that it can help you too.
