I quit working because I saw no point in sacrificing both time and my mental well being for such a petty return. When you work at that wage you are actually losing money. So there is no point in doing it. I was much happier being homeless. With such comes freedom. Freedom that very little castes within society get to experience. When you constantly work all you think about is money coming in and going out. When you stop, you are no longer burdened by it.

I'm a musician and I haven't purchased a new piece of gear in 10 years. But I've met some awesome people! I got a job in stage production mostly just carrying stuff and building stages. I've scored some free garb doing so too. I can't tell you what to do. But as a musician I would ditch that place and hit the road. That's where minstrels are meant to be.
