i suffer with major anxiety and have often had my tongue go numb for no apparent reason... back when this all first started i went to the ER several times because i was terrified it was something bad like a stroke or whatever... but they did tests and all was fine... it was purely down to anxiety...

i dont understand it at all... but wanted to reassure you that i have had this too... and it is very frightening, but it does go away... i still get it now occasionally...

hope you are feeling abit calmer...
