Wow eskielover, sounds like you have really been to hell and back with migraines. Next time I feel sorry for myself with these migraines I'll think of your situation and realize it could be much worse.

I have been on the fentanyl patch before, and I remember it helping. I was also taking stadol nasal spray and that completely took the pain away, but I developed a serious addiction to it.

If the problem continues, maybe I'll mention the lidocaine gel on Q-tips to my neurologist and see if he'd be willing to try it. Thanks for sharing your experience and for the lidocaine tip!
