I have eight chicks in a pen in the house. They are little bitty peeps, way too small to go in the coop yet. When they are big enough I'll move them to the coop.

We used to get wild cats. It's possible. I've seen hawks, wild cats and coyote eat our chickens. Chickens can have different colors. We had the white speckled chickens, reddish color and black color. There feathers are pretty when they are chickens
