The adult hen is a Rhode Island Red. Two of the chicks are something else with red in the name. Can't remember what. I don't know what the other six are. I asked the guy at the store and he said "They are pullets." I told him I understood they were pullets, but what breed were they? Again he said "They are pullets." I gave it up as a lost cause. Maybe I'll be able to sort out the breed when they get their permanent feathers.
