I did a search for animal rescues in your area. I don't know if this one can help you, but if they can't, they might be able to direct you to someone who can. They do foster care. Some of the animal rescues in my area will board your animal for a limited time if you are homeless or otherwise unable to keep your animal with you.

I am an "animal person" and know what awful pressure it can add when you are ill and have to worry about what will happen to your best friends if you can't take care of them for a while.
