Hello dear, I very much understand your situation, because I cared for my parents when they were ill, and I lived 2 1/2 hours away. It was very stressful and difficult. I also once lived in an apartment infested with cockroaches, ugh!! As for being ready to have a baby but not being in a relationship, I would be a bit cautious. I wonder how old are you? When I was 30, I was desperate to have a baby, but had just broken up with a man who wasn't interested in marriage or kids (also an unemployed alcoholic, so just as well.) I thought if I didn't meet the right man, I would eventually have a baby on my own. Very shortly afterward, I met the man of my dreams, and we got married and had two beautiful daughters. So I would try to be patient on that, and if you are moving to a new location soon, you might find someone, you never know!
