I've taken most of the sedating meds and sleeping meds out there. Ambien has a really short half life. I actually wake up half way through the night when I take this. Nefazodone and halcion are some older meds that aren't use as often anymore, but still effective, but also have a short half life so they should be less likely to Cause next day hangover symptoms.
