I don't think there is anything wrong with asking to change the appointment. Things happen and availability changes so she may or may not be able to accommodate you but you won't know without asking.

I have a standing appointment with my t and have only changed it once or twice because I had a conflict that week. It works best for me and my t to have a set schedule and most clients at her office work the same way with a set appointment every week or other week.
