I got patronised too, I saw my GP with a problem with my neck. He asked "What do you expect me to do?" I must have been thinking clearly for once because I retorted "I expect you to treat me as you would expect to be treated yourself?" I got a referral to a specialist clinic

Mental health services in the UK are the pits and I don't think any of the political promises that are being made will help those of us who need more than a sticking plaster. We'll get shoved to the bottom of the pile as per usual. We all need proper support, no matter what our age or circumstances.
