When I was in the hospital in the fall I ended up baker acted even though I checked myself in. So I was involuntary for like 6 hours. The thing that saved me was I had kept a journal while in the ER and had written that I wasn't suicidal and that they didn't need to baker act me and when the p doc read that he ended up transferring me almost immediately / the same day to voluntary admission.
