I had a similar experience recently. I went to my hem/onc and they took me in to do the usual blood pressure, weight, blood draw etc.

Anyway, it was busy that day so they took me into the chemo room to draw my blood and wait.

I sat in between to women who were hooked up having their IV chemo treatments and I thanked my lucky stars that I only have to take the chemo orally.
