I've done online dating on and off since 2004. If I get replies (and yes, I am active in contacting people) then it results in no more than one date. The last time I tried, last year, I put out several contacts and got one or two replies. No dates. So I gave up. It's a waste of time and money for me. It's not really conducive to how I would become attracted or connected to someone anyway. I know this about myself, but I've tried anyway because there is not really any other way for me to meet someone.
