Another thing is if this is heriditary.

I told a relative when we casually talked about my dad and I said he has a tic he is doing all the time. The rel was like "HUH, he doesn't have tics!" I said but he pushes air thru his nose many, many times a day. The rel said "But he has always done that!" like that would prove that it is not a tic, LOL.

My dad's tic is very persistant and I don't know if he has more that are not visible. I haven't asked because we do not talk about those things.

So did I somehow get this from him?
