Oh how I remember being around your age and wanting to be looked at as an adult and treated as an adult. Never truly understanding what all the fuss was about with older guys.

Hearts racing and minds thinking, what a joy it would be to have someone more mature. But as Direction stated, the difference between a 25yr old and 30yr old is different from a 15yr old and 20yr old. Not only because of the laws in this country, but because of what is learned between those years.

Any young man between the ages of 18-23 and older that is wanting to be with a 15yr old young lady is not as mature as you think he is. (for the most part, and yes I am generalizing) At 15, you come to a time in your life where new experiences are exciting. One should be growing and learning about others in their own age group. That's what helps you mature in life and learn what other people think and feel. When mixed with a young man who is 5 years older than you (at this point in your life) is pretty much asking for trouble. What is their motivation for being with a much younger person??? Are they unable to have relationships with people their own age for some reason?

Aside from the legal stand point, this is a time when morals are developed. What do you want YOUR morals to be? What and how do you want to be respected and treated?

I'm not saying that a good loving and solid relationship cannot be formed with an older guy. But it will take time and patience. If there is a true connection between you, he WILL respect you and not take advantage of you. He will wait until you are of age, and more prepared to have a meaningful relationship.

This is a time when you should be having fun with your own counterparts. Finding out what makes YOU happy in a safe way and safe environment. I know that the idea of a relationship with an older guy is exciting, but somewhere down the road you are setting yourself up for heartache. And I for one hope you don't do anything that you will regret in later years.
