Hey guys since 5th grade my school grades were terrible I got E's and D's in Maths and C's in most other subjects. I try to study but it's so boring I can't focus and in the end I forget everything I just go and do something else after a few minutes. But now I am wondering if I have ADHD inattentive but I'm not sure so I thought maybe someone could help me out.
My problems are:
- I can't concentrate at all on my work in class. When the teacher explains things I usually just start thinking about completely irrelevant things or I'm just staring at the wall doing nothing and I always ask my friends what we have to do.

- I don't do my homework very often because I either forget, do it partially because I get distracted very easily or I simply don't understand it.

- When someone is directly speaking to me about something that seems boring I end up not listening to them because I'm thinking about other things without even realizing it.( People do get pissed at me when I say "What?" after they finished the boring story.)

- I misplace my things like my phone, wallet, keys etc.. quite often.

- When I'm sitting at my desk I find myself playing with my pen's rather than working and listening.

- While I'm supposed to be solving the problems the teacher just gave me I usually just sit there doing nothing for 10 minutes until I realize I'm supposed to work.

- I can read fluently but sometimes I find myself reading a paragraph without actually understanding it so I have to re-read it again.

- When I'm watching a movie or TV show I will usually pause it to do something else and forget about the movie.

- I'm terrible at organizing things all my folders have lose papers floating around.

- I always do assignments/homework at the last minute.

- Sometimes it takes me a long time understand instructions.

- I often start different projects before finishing what I planned to do.

- I don't think I'm ever going to understand maths.
