Basically, I've just been trying to keep my hands away from my head as much as possible. If I'm watching TV, I'll hold the remote; if I'm writing, I'll hold an eraser or a pen lid in my left hand; if I'm reading, I'll make sure I'm holding the book with both hands...and if those aren't enough, sometimes I've worn a hat.

It's easier now that I don't have schoolwork to do.
Unfortunately, I've been doing some less healthy coping strategies as well - picking the skin off my lips, and playing with my hair like I said in my first post. But I'd rather do those than actually pull my hair out...maybe eventually I'll be able to stop them, too.
