Unfortunately, mentally unhealthy people make poor self care decisions a lot (I don't know about you, OP) just generalizing. I can see how that would be frustrating for professionals, then again, that's why they get paid huge sums of money.

I worry that Dr's make assumptions such as
woman in crisis=personality disorder=RUN!

I hate it when anyone makes assumptions about me without knowing me, especially people who are supposed to be better educated and in a position to help.
