I think if reading and posting on an anonymous online message board is an attachment then it is just further proof to me that the concept of attachment is meaningless. It doesn't seem to be on quite the same level as having an emotional connection with a real life human being, but I could be wrong. LOL.

I personally would call the internet reading and posting a habit and not an attachment, but words mean different things to different people.

I also don't think attachment is horrible or evil. I would like to be emotionally attached to a real person, but it's too terrifying. I have always been like this and I don't think I'm a psychopath or whatever for having this problem. It's because of very severe childhood abuse and neglect and I don't think I'm a freak for struggling with this.
