Hi Fuzzy, it wasn't
your failure in trusting him, it was
his failure in letting you down and abusing that trust!!!

He was a T, he was
supposed to be there to help you, to be understanding and supportive, right??!! So nothing wrong
at all with expecting that,
or with expecting that what he was doing was in your best interests.
So
please, don't put any blame in yourself. Any blame lies
entirely with him!!
And time to focus on your healing from this, I know it seriously isn't easy but.........you do
deserve to be "free" of him
