that's bad news about the cheque account. Yeah, it is only money, but if the money is yours, or partially so, maybe you should ask for it back, or take it out of any other joint accounts you have.

Your sister I think is just worried about you, but there is no way you can "just get over" something like this, do not feel bad about taking your time.
