this has come up because I am in so much pain I am thinking of asking for codine again,..,many years ago I had a really bad sinus infection and was on codine for the pain...when I quit it suddenly I had an episode...I awoke or at least I thought I did and seeing snakes coming out of the walls and crawling across the floor I opened a drawer and got my loaded 357mag got back in bed and lay in the fetal position till morning...when my wife really blasted me for doing that,,rightfuly so. I told myself it was a dream and I have always since listed myself alergic to codine..
but now I wonder,, could it have been a psychotic event...brought on by the drug....or maybe just a very realistic dream..... it was like Indiana Jones with them sliding out of holes and flopping on the ground....and no I had not just seen the movie..
