Ody, I did logic for Computer Science and we never went into such detail as you've described. Never went through the whole point of it, only how it related to programming. Your further analysis of it all would have made the whole module that much more interesting!

Oh and just to add: Newtus, check out Khan Academy I'm pretty sure they have a video on basic logic, truth tables, logic gates etc.
