I'm not sure on the exact meaning of middle ground, I agree with the jiste of that idea and kinda with balance. I'm about extremes though. If you master both ends of a spectrum, you can be everything in between.
Instead of pretending and being "tactful" with others, you can be sincere and really understand.
I think your T is using the test as a base for you to grow from. We can get lost so easily in our disorders. Hell, i've retyped this response 3 times, different explanations, due to my perfectionism problem, lol.
Try the Jung Cognitive Function Test (basically what MBTI was "built upon)
Jungian Cognitive Functions Test
My INFJ GF (and is very much an INFJ), her result on the above , was literally "unknown" lol.
Would be interesting to see if anyones Jung Cognitive function result is different from their MBTI. (MBTI = INTP. Jung = ENFP. My reflection and research - No doubt i'm an ENTP)

So i took the test while on my lunch break and it says "unclear". Everything was between 60-85% with Extroverted sensing being the only one at 50%. Not sure I like this test lol. If they dunno how am I supposed to lol?
