You mentioned your attention being all over the place. Do you have ADHD or have you been evaluated? Maybe that might be hindering your decision process.
I'm trying to get into a doctoral program for Occupational Therapy next winter and I don't even know for sure if I will like the work, but it seems like something I would enjoy so I've been pursuing it with gusto, taking all of my prerequisites, planning for job shadows, the works. I don't know if it's the right decision. Maybe I should have taken more time in deciding. But I'm going for it. I just hope I get in.
But whoever said so above, they're right, you can't be a counselor with just a bachelor's degree. You'd need a masters at least.
