What usually helps me is to remember that it's completely normal and ok to be nervous. Doesn't matter if you don't immediately know an answer to a question. The other person will understand. Maybe they are even nervous about doing an interview over the phone as well! I've had some very nervous-sounding HR people on the phone when just making an appointment for an interview.

lol. When he left me the voice mail, I don't know if he was nervous exactly, but he DID talk awful fast and jumbled-- not as calm and clear as I'd expect! The next interview is thursday afternoon. You'd think I would have used the extra time to prepare, but now I just want it over with.
