No big concerns. This should be absolutely fine because I've been on 1200 for so long. It is a huge dose but it was a difficult situation. I've had movement disorders happen on abilify, geodon, prozac and reglan and so the older anti-psychotics are pretty risky for me because I'm at high risk of getting movement disorders on them. I would prefer to add Latuda (and that may happen) but it would have to be through patient assistance which takes a week or two and this had to be treated now.
I agree with Christina that research would be nice but I've been off the beaten track with meds for many years. I have been on something like 60 cocktails and because of allergies, movement disorders and a lot of meds not working for me there aren't a lot of options left. Plus I'm on an MAOI so that restricts things even further because it interacts with a lot of the things that are usually used for sedation. So I am used to being on unusual meds and have a dr who is very well qualified to handle unusual situations and that is pretty much all she does now.
The scary thing is that I took it 3 hours ago and the valium 1.5 hours ago and I'm still awake. I thought I was getting sleepy and then wound up more agitated. I want to go clean something and am trying to stay in bed and relaxed. I can go up more on the valium but am too afraid to the first night with all the Seroquel added.
This mania is really determined to stick around.
