That's a good question. I would define a good professor that doesn't teach to the very smart students, or teach to the kids that are having too much trouble. A good professor will teach to the middle crowd. The smart will teach themselves, ones that are having a lot of trouble can speak to the professor in person. Teaching to the middle crowd will benefit the most.
