I heard from the mortgage broker yesterday, my refinance loan was approved. They hope to try to close on Monday.

This is a huge huge load off of my mind. It is not a solution to my problems, as I am only trading one debt for another. But it means that if there are no snafus then my house will no longer be in foreclosure. Which is not to say it won't go into foreclosure again, but this buys me some time.

If I can find a job and begin working again I can resolve this issue and put it behind me.

I may try to celebrate this in a small way this weekend. At the very least I may treat myself to the new Star Wars DVDs that I haven't been able to even think about because of my situation.
