Will give you my personal opinions.

For the most part, medications with keep your mentality at bay but i do not think that it will fully help you overcome your state of mind at the current moment. There i will suggest not consuming any medication at all.

Secondly, all this stuff you talk of(depression, ptsd etc) is happening inside your mind and you have full control of it whether you believe it or not. And also there is no way an outside source can help you, what you are doing is that you are avoiding what is happening in your head by paying attention to others opinions and therefore you see no solid direction to go and the problem will persist as you are not looking at it at all. (Avoidance) It might be completely unintentional.

So i suggest this. Firstly, stop paying attention to anybody at all. (Medicine included because they also have unwanted placebo effects)

Then start listening to yourself. By this i mean your daily interactions, your mind, your feelings and what not.

Once you start listening to yourself, you will realise what is going on and you will even know what to do. Like i said it is your mind and you are the soul owner of your mind. Take control of it.

Do not let your mind wander off, which probably will again lead you to heed to unwanted things rather than your own self.

When you have a panic attack or anxiety, go through with it, but this time observe it like i have told you. Observe the feelings the emotions, your surrounding and go with the flow. Try not to get caught in it, and even if you do it is all okay because it will subside and slowly just like that it will keep subsiding until theres nothing to subside anymore.

Its a fight, but it is something you have to go through.

Hope you get ok.
