I logged in to medscape and came across a CE that was interesting. It's a study on Treating Depression in the Elderly Reduces Arthritis Pain. It mentions amitriptyline and others tri-cyclics working the best for pain, as well. The more I read and learn, the more I just might be willing to consider and possibly try psych meds. Maybe I should look into it. I know it's about to happen. Maybe I'll go along with it willingly now. I can't believe that I haven't been prescribed any yet after all this time! Not that I haven't had the opportunity by my primary care physician. All I had to do then was to say the word "divorce", and it was instantly offered.
