Yes. It was worse before menopause; I seem to rapid cycle a lot less now that process is almost over or is over (as soon as I say it is I'll have a hot flash although it's been long enough that I may be done....hysterectomy so it's hard to know for sure). There were times my therapist said he could see me cycle in an hour. In fact he told me once he was meeting with a family about one of them being newly diagnosed and one of the questions was about whether it was possible to cycle in just a day or so and he told them he had another client who he had watched cycle in sessions before so yes and that this was very reassuring to them. Glad to help? (Really I am very glad when something of mine can help someone else). Usually if I'm doing that I'm really mixed and just going back and forth from one extreme to the other.

I have almost never had an episode that wasn't mixed and now they tend to be so mixed that it is usually a little hard to see ups or downs (except this time when I've been very up from afternoon until early morning and then am depressed for a few hours in the morning). Except I'm not sure who wouldn't be down after not sleeping despite taking enough sedatives to calm an elephant and I'm not even getting sleepy half the time so I kind of thing that is more totally normal.
