yesyes, I do this too, talk to t in my head! this has worked for me several times.

Another thing I just remembered I did - when I took a break from t one time for a couple months - I created an email address for myself "innertherapist@xxx.xxx" and sent emails to it throughout the week of stuff I wanted to work on, and then at my weekly appt time, I kept my appt again with myself and read the emails and wrote in my journal about them.
