kutt38, I am 20 and I experience relatively irregular period cycles. My cycles range from 27 days to 37 days and I don't precisely know when to expect my period. Also, my periods are associated with quite painful menstrual cramps and headaches... I'm considering starting birth control pills soon for this reason, plus their primary intended use of contraception is a benefit for me... Has your gynecologist suggested the option of birth control? What are your thoughts on it?
