I dreamt I was standing in line at a bank with my husband when I saw a couple of people acting panicked and running into a room and shutting the door. Then someone came out to get another person who worked there to help. I could see a woman lying on the floor in that room and someone else doing CPR on her. I asked the person as they were going by if I could help, that I knew CPR and really wanted to try and help.(somehow I knew she was choking on something). So my husband and I went in, but he went the wrong way and I was right there by the woman. They had her face covered with a black jacket so you couldn't see that she looked dead. I could see her arm bent up like she was strained and I touched her to see if she was stiff and she wasn't. So I started CPR compressions on her to try and dislodge what she was choking on. I remember thinking that I wasn't feeling her ribs crack like I should. So I tried repositioning my hands but couldn't quite get them right. I kept compressing but it just wouldn't come out. Finally I smelled this horrible smell that I knew was death, so I stopped compressions. I wasn't able to help her so she died. When I got up to leave they had taken the jacket off her face and it was someone I had been acquaintances with years ago (only not really, I do not really recognize her). I only recognized her in my dream. I remember feeling so scared for her and her face being covered up was really scary too because I could only imagine what her face looked like as she choked to death. The position of her arm, so strained like that was terrifying too. What in the world could this crazy dream mean? It has stuck with me all day.
